The Sunshine Blogger Award: I & II

So, this week I am suffering with a temporary writer’s block. Hence, I decided to keep my writing on the backtrack for this week and focus on awards for which I was nominated in the recent past. I find award posts very interesting as we find new amazing bloggers out there and the questions asked are absorbing and give us an insight about the blogger.

I was nominated twice for The Sunshine Blogger Award. I feel overwhelmed and want to thank both bloggers for appreciating my work.

I was nominated by Aakanksha having a blog called Desire Alley and Ela having blog Introverted Ela. They both have very expressive and amazing blogs and they post heartfelt writeups. So, make sure that you check them both!

1. What is your favorite song?

My favorite song depends on my mood. However, I do love to listen Something Just like this by Coldplay and the Chainsmokers. I even reviewed that song!

2. What is the most important question in life according to you?

According to me, the most important question in life is what ignites your inner spark? This question helps you to analyse your passion and interests. I think people run after a materialistic life but never have satisfaction or inner peace after doing so. So, its important to find something you will never be tired of doing! It makes you feel contented.

3. What is your favorite guilty pleasure movie?

My favourite guilty pleasure movie is an American comedy film ‘My cousin Vinny’. I like the plotline and the humour in the movie and I feel that the movie is underrated. 😄

4. What is your favorite hobby?

My favourite hobby is writing and reading novels alongside working on my blog.

5. Do you like reading novels from books or watching them as a movie?

I definitely prefer reading novels rather than watching their movie adaptations. I feel that movies are made for the commercial audience and they twist the plotline at some places and the true essence of the novel gets ignored.

6. Beaches or mountains?

I would prefer beaches over mountains. 🌅⛱

7.Sunrise or sunset?

Sunrise over sunset. 🌞

8. A quote that you feel suits your life the best.

I think that would be “Work hard, be kind, and amazing things will happen”.

9. What is your biggest fear?

They always say that life never goes how you planned it to be. I think that is my biggest fear. I agree that variations will be there between my dream plan and the reality, but I want those variations to be small and the end goal should remain the same.

10. Best web series you have ever watched?

I think the best web series would be ‘Money Heist’. I love the gripping plot-line and the structure of the whole series. Eagerly waiting for season 5 ! 😎

11. If you have only one day to live, what would you do first?

You know I read about this paradox some time back, that a person makes a wish list for things he/she has to do before death, and when the time comes, they are so confused what to do first that they end up doing nothing. So, I would probably reflect on my life and express gratitude to people I want to. ✨✨

   I’m more of a dog person. Woof! 🐶

4. What book inspired you the most?

This is a tough one. I’d say that I’m yet to find an inspirational book. I really liked reading The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho as it gives me a positive outlook about life.

5. What book changed your perceptions about life?

The Fault in our Stars by John Green and The Alchemist by Paulo Coelho 🎊

6. Thriller or love story?

I prefer thrillers over love stories.

7. Dream place to visit?

Europe

8. What are the things you love to do aside from writing?

Apart from writing, I love to read, play games and watch movies or web series. I love observation.

9. What is your favorite coffee flavor?

Favorite coffee flavor is Hazelnut Coffee

10. Favorite movie?

Favorite Indian Movie is ‘Zindagi na milegi dubara’ and favorite Hollywood movies, well the list is long. 😂 I like ‘The Intern’ and all James Bond movies.

11. What are the three things you have beside you when you sleep?

Three things that I have beside me when I sleep are my spectacles, my phone and a handkerchief.
