The Sunshine Blogger Award: III & IV

I was nominated for this prestigious award again, taking the tally of this particular award to four. For the previous two awards, check The Sunshine Blogger Award: I and II.

This time, I was nominated by:

  1. Shubhangi Srinivasan of The Shubhster Diaries.
  2. Nida Khan of Seeds.

I thank both of them. Both Shubhangi and Nida have well-maintained blogs where they post appealing writeups so make sure to check them out both!

RULES:

  • Answer the 11 questions asked by the one who nominated you.
  • Nominate 11 bloggers and ask them 11 new questions.
  • Notify the nominees.
  • List the rules and display the Sunshine Blogger Award image in your post.

Questions asked to me by Shubhangi:

  1. How do you deal with uncertainty?
Ah, such an interesting question. Whenever there is uncertainty in anything I do, I see whether do I have the control to change that situation. If I do, I work towards it. Otherwise, I just relax and hope for the best !
  2. How do you prioritize focusing on your passion and yourself?
I practice time management to take time out for my passions like reading, writing and working on my blog.
  3. What message do you want people to take away from your blog?
I want people to visit my blog, explore and witness my creativity and imagination, and take the message that you have the power to do anything, you just require resolve! ✨
  4. Who makes you the happiest and why?
I think a singular entity like a person or a thing doesn’t make me happy. Happiness depends on my mood and my circumstances. I believe it comes in both big and small ways. I do however, am blessed to have my parents. 😇💖
  5. What is one song/ piece of music that you’re most attached to emotionally and why?
One song that I’m really close to is “Something just like this” . I can always listen to that song and it motivates me in times of distress.
  6. What’s your go-to mantra when you need to give yourself a pep-talk?
My go to mantra is that don’t panic, analyse the situation, do what you can do and hope for the best. You can do it! ✨
  7. What holds you back from sharing your work sometimes?
Some of my work is really emotional and heartfelt and I’m in a dilemma whether people will relate to it or not.
  8. Are you doing what you’re passionate about right now? If not, what’s stopping you?
Yes, I’m doing what I’m passionate about right now, fortunately, and I’m enjoying myself.
  9. Do you practice enough self-care?
    No, I don’t think so. 😐🤫
  10. What is(are) your favorite quote(s) and why?
One of my favorite quotes is from the book “The Kite Runner” by Khaled Hosseini.
And that’s the thing about people who mean everything they say. They think everyone else does too.” I feel this quote is very true and I myself have witnessed it.
  11. What values do you prize the most and why?
The values I prize the most are honesty, truth, integrity and reciprocity. I think in this world of cunning foxes, in the end, however difficult it may seem, the pure-hearted will always win! ✨

Questions asked to me by Nida:

  1. Your go to movie?
My go to Bollywood movie is ‘Zindagi Na Milegi Dubara’ and for Hollywood, it is an American comedy film named ‘My cousin Vinny’.
  2. Favorite book?
The Da Vinci Code by Dan Brown.

3. Are you a student? If yes, what subjects do you study? Or in which field do you work?
Yes, I’m a student pursuing the field of engineering. Mainly I study subjects of science like math, physics, thermodynamics and computer programming.

4. One crazy thing on your bucket list?
That would be skydiving in Europe ! 🎇🌪

5. If you could visit one place from fictional books, what would that be?
This is so difficult to choose! I think this will include Hogwarts from the harry potter series, pre- Independence India from Subhash Chandra Bose’s Autobiography and industrial London between world war I and II as portrayed by Charles Dickens.

6. Your biggest pet peeve?
My biggest pet peeve is people not having consistency, integrity or reciprocity.

7. What languages do you speak?
I mainly speak English and Hindi. However, I also understand Punjabi and a bit of French. I really want to learn French, German and Spanish!

        😊😁 Thanks for the compliment!
I have a question actually. When you ask that what subject you are studying, do you mean to ask that what subject I took in tenth or twelfth? I am a student, but I haven’t taken any particular subject, as I am in grade 8th now.

      2. Yes, the meaning behind the question was somewhat related to that. But as per your situation, I would love to know what do you aspire to be and which stream would you like to take after completing school 😊✨
